Animal rights group offers reward after ducks found beheaded

The Animal Rights Action Network (ARAN) is offering a reward of €1,500 for information that may help find and convict whoever was responsible for killing up to 20 ducks in Edenderry, Co Offaly.

The birds were found with their heads removed.

ARAN says it believes that the controversial 'Love/Hate' cat scene and another in which a pigeon's neck was snapped in the TV drama, could be fuelling copycat attacks on animals and birds.
