Almost €93m was taken in by the Revenue Commissioners in overdue taxes and penalties during the third quarter of the year.

Almost €93m was taken in by the Revenue Commissioners in overdue taxes and penalties during the third quarter of the year.

The latest defaulters list shows that of the 84 largest settlements, four were in excess of €1m while four others paid between €500,000 and €1m.

A total of 32 other cases exceeded the €100,000 mark in the three-month period to the end of September.
