Dublin Airport is warning that increased noise levels may affect areas of the capital during maintenance work.
The main runway requires an overlay, work on which was put back due to severe weather over the winter months.
Completion has now been delayed until the end of April.
The main runway is being withdrawn at certain times between Mondays and Saturdays.
During these times, the crosswind runway will be used instead.
The DAA is warning this may result in increased aircraft noise levels in the Santry, Beaumont, Artane, Clontarf and surrounding areas.
Some south Co Dublin residential areas may also be affected.
