Aircraft crash couple escape serious injury
An elderly couple from Galway whose light aircraft crash-landed in a field in Co Fermanagh today have avoided serious injury.
Police said later the woman, who is in her 60s, was in hospital and had not suffered life-threatening injuries.
Her husband, also in his 60s, did not suffer any serious injuries.
The relevant air accident investigation bodies were informed.
