AIB agrees to talk to Priory Hall residents30/04/2012 - 12:31:30
AIB has agreed to take part in talks with the residents of the Priory Hall apartment complex in North Dublin.
The residents, who were evacuated from their homes last year over fire safety concerns, are attempting to negotiate with their mortgage lenders.
However, a number of other banks and the Irish Banking Federation have so far seemed hesitant to engage in mediation.
Dublin City Council is currently paying for alternative accommodation for the residents, but it is seeking to overturn a High Court order on the issue.
