Aer Lingus plans to sue SIPTU over its planned industrial action, which was struck down in the High Court earlier this week.

Aer Lingus plans to sue SIPTU over its planned industrial action, which was struck down in the High Court earlier this week.

Even though it did not go ahead, the airline says the threat left it massively out of pocket.

According to the Irish Times, Aer Lingus has served legal proceedings on the trade union, and is looking for "multiple millions" in damages.
