Aer Lingus slams pilots' inaction

Aer Lingus is hitting out at pilots for not taking action on an agreement reached on the company's cost-cutting plans.
Last month, pilots accepted a €30m cost savings package put forward by the arbitrator, Kieran Mulvey.
The package includes a 10% pay cut and up to 76 redundancies.
However, Aer Lingus claims no concrete action has been taken since to bring the matter to finality.
The airline is demanding that IALPA ballots its members on the arbitration document so it can go ahead with its cost-saving proposals.
