The bitter dispute at Aer Lingus looks set to intensify today, as cabin crew are put under pressure to sign up to controversial new rosters.
Some 175 staff have now been taken off the payroll in a row over the introduction of a new rostering system at the airline.
Aer Lingus has been forced to in hire aircraft and crew from other carriers in a bid to keep operations up and running.
Last week the airline had to cancel several flights, affecting the travel plans of thousands of people in this bitter row on the introduction of new rosters.
Today the dispute looks likely to intensify as managers begin what they call a disciplinary process, holding a series of one to one meetings with staff in a bid to get them to sign up to work the new rosters.
If workers do not agree to new arrangements, they could ultimately be sacked.
