Aer Lingus cabin crew reject cost cutting plan

Cabin crew at Aer Lingus have today rejected the company's cost cutting plan by a two-thirds majority.

The result follows a ballot by the airline's pilots to vote by an 81% majority to accept the deal.

The proposal for pilots will involve 70 redundancies, a 10% reduction in pay and increased pension contributions.
