Adams on bomb threat: 'Idiots' will not deter me

Gerry Adams has labelled the people behind a bomb threat at his home as "idiots".

The Sinn Féin leader was yesterday informed by the PSNI that a bomb threat had been made against his house in Belfast.

The party's offices on the Falls Road were also targeted by a threat, though no evidence was found.

Deputy Adams has lashed out at the people responsible, saying: "It's quite disruptive of the family and so on, but you know it is July and some of these idiots who may or may not represent groups use this opportunity.

"It's not going to deter me from doing what I am doing and everybody's okay."
