More than three quarters (77%) of all Irish people would choose to stay in the EU even if the UK leaves.
Britain has been promised an 'In-Out' referendum (known as 'Brexit'), but a new Red C poll suggests that a majority here believe we should remain part of the EU, regardless of what happens in the UK.
The research was commissioned by European Movement Ireland who spoke to more than 1,000 adults around the country.
A breakdown of the figures also shows that 84% of us think Ireland has benefited from membership of the EU.
