500 jobs on offer as Dublin career expo enters second day

Job-seekers are gathering in Dublin for day two of a major jobs expo at Croke Park conference centre.

Organisers of the event say up to 500 jobs will be on offer from 100 recruiters who will carry out on the spot interviews.

Candidates can also take advantage of free career advice and help with their visa if they decide to move abroad for work.

Event co-coordinator, Vicky Kelly has this advice for anyone heading today.

"I would advise people to dress smartly, bring as many copies of their CV, have some questions prepared," she said.

"You can also check out the jobs expo website to see the list of exhibitors- so you can have in your own mind [an idea of] who you want to talk to."
