Around 250 Aer Lingus cabin crew who have been removed from duties and the payroll reported for duty en masse this morning.
The group walked to the airline's headquarters in Dublin Airport where they presented chief executive Christoph Mueller with a letter outlining their concerns over the implementation of new rosters.
The letter says cabin crew remain loyal to Aer Lingus "but are also loyal to each other and to their families, whose quality of life they are trying to protect".
Aer Lingus has said it intends to operate a full flight schedule today after hiring planes from other carriers.
Cabin crew worker Ann Gillespie attended this morning with her two children: "I'm here over 12 years and we have to stand united."
She said the company wanted to change flight rosters at short notice, creating difficulties with coordinating childcare.
