One hundred and seventy new jobs are set to be created over the next four years at a leading research centre in Cork.
The jobs will come on line as part of a €50m expansion programme at the Tyndall National Institute.
The facility, which employs 330 researchers, is Ireland's largest R&D centre in the area of information and communications technology.
It was established three years as part of a joint initiative between the Government, University College Cork and Science Foundation Ireland.
