100,000 yet to switch to digital TV
With just four days to go until the analogue TV service is switched off, it is estimated 100,000 people still have not switched over to digital television.
The Department of Communications has spent more than €1.2m on a major information campaign.
Retailers have reported an 11th-hour surge in people buying Saorview boxes in recent days in a bid to ensure their TV service continues uninterrupted from October 24.
