'X Factor' judges think they have found another "Katie Waissel".
Kitty Brucknell, who claimed her friends had refused to support her audition, impressed panellists Louis Walsh, Kelly Rowland, Tulisa Contostavlos and Gary Barlow with her performance and received cheers from the audience for her voice.
Gary told her: "Your voice is amazing, that was a great audition. The audience just loved it."
However, the cheers quickly turned into boos when Kitty sat on the stage and gave a rambling rant about how "lucky and blessed" she felt, sparking comparisons with last year's finalist, who divided viewers with her quirky appeal.
Tulisa told her: "You remind me of Katie Waissel. You have a very quirky personality."
Louis added: "You do talk a lot."
Show insiders fear Kitty has "blown" her chances of success following her bizarre speech.
One source told the Daily Star newspaper: "Kitty was quite humble when she came on and everyone felt sort for her, but then she blew it. The audience were willing her to stop talking. She seemed to have had it in the bag until then.
"It was Tulisa who said what everyone was thinking when she said she was like Katie. If she makes it through then she's going to be a nightmare."
