Weather looking good for Electric Picknickers

The 50,000 people waking up at Electric Picnic this morning are in for a bright day with some sunshine.

The good news is that the rain is expected to stay away for tonight's headline acts Blur and Sam Smith. Temperatures will be 15C to 16C.

Met Éireann's John Eagleton said: "The mornings and nights will be cool, but the middle of the day will be pleasant enough. Sunshine will be mixed - it's not going to be brilliantly sunny, but it's not going to be heavily overcast either."

Tonight will be dry too, a relief to the thousands staying in tents.
