WATCH: Did Bill Hader REALLY convince someone he was Irish with this awful accent?

We’ve heard them all at this stage - Courteney Cox, Harry Styles, Billy Piper and now Bill Hader -celebrities aiming to nail the Irish accent.

Bill Hader appeared on Conan O'Brien's late night chat show this week, and talked about his time in Ireland promoting his new movie Trainwreck.

Before we knew it he successfully showcased the worst attempt of an Irish accent - EVER.

The comedian told O’Brien that after his trip he would just walk around New York pretending to be a Radio Producer from Dublin, just to amuse himself.

He was even approached by a fan on the street and convinced her that he was Irish - or so he thought.

"A woman came up to me and she was like, are you him? And I was like, no, people think it's me. I get confused for him all the time,” he explained.

"I just sat and had this conversation with this woman for 10 minutes. And I was like, no, I'm a radio producer in Dublin”.

Really Bill? Really?
