Louis Walsh's new reality TV show - centering around the efforts of a new girl band to break into the business - is to air on UK television next month.
The 'X Factor' judge will pair up with Westlife singer Kian Egan for a two-part series, which sees them launch a girl band called Wonderland, who they put together after auditioning more than 3,000 hopefuls in Dublin.
Louis said: "It's great that the girls have an ITV2 show already."
The group features Kian’s wife – and former ‘Hollyoaks’ actress – Jodi Albert, along with Sharon Condon, Corrina Durran, Leigh Learmont and Kasey Smith, and the show will follow the quintet as they attempt to achieve chart success.
Louis added: "Wonderland will definitely be the biggest girl band in the world come the end of next year.
"These girls really have something special."
The show - called ‘The Management” - will air on ITV2 in October.
News he is putting together a girl band will come as a surprise to some fans after Louis – who used to manager Girls Aloud - previously claimed he finds women difficult to work with.
He said: "They're high-maintenance. It's easier to manage boy bands. Less hairspray, less make-up, less baggage."
