US plans TV special on singing sensation Boyle
American TV is making a special programme starring singing sensation Susan Boyle.
The one-hour documentary, 'I Dreamed a Dream: The Susan Boyle Story', on TV Guide Network, will feature performances by Boyle, 48, plus interviews with her as well as friends and celebrities including Simon Cowell, a producer of the special.
The shy unknown from Blackburn, West Lothian in Scotland, stepped on stage to audition for 'Britain’s Got Talent' last January, electrifying the judges with her rendition of 'I Dreamed a Dream'.
The documentary, shown in the US on December 13, promises to track her journey from rural Scotland to her breakout performance and the global fame that has embraced her since.
