Following on from last week’s Toy Show, the Late Late Show is pulling out all the stops to keep you watching this week.
Joining Ryan on the couch this week is Carlow’s own Oscar-nominated, Saoirse "rhymes with inertia" Ronan.
She joins Ryan to talk about her latest critically acclaimed movie Lady Bird, as well as her hosting gig of Saturday Night Live, and that very questionable Aer Lingus sketch.
As the excitement builds for this year’s Dancing with the Stars Ireland, Ryan will be chatting to three of the yet-to-be-revealed celebs who will be joining Deirdre O’Kane, Bernard O’Shea and Maia Dunphy on the boards.
They will also be revealing the full DWTS line-up.
Dublin-mum Emma Murphy, who took a stand against domestic violence in a video that went viral, will also be stopping by to talk about her ordeal, and about how domestic violence is treated by the Irish legal system.
The Corrs will also stop by for a special performance, celebrating the 20th anniversary of Talk on Corners and catching up with Ryan to promote their upcoming album, Jupiter Calling.
Children’s charity LauraLynn nominated three-year-old Jake Smith to visit the Late Late Toy Show last week.
He was born with a tumour the size of a fist in his head and doctors thought it unlikely he would see his first birthday. He is still fighting and is now on a medical trial cancer drug that has finally stopped his tumour growing.
Jake’s parents, Andrea and Padraic Smith will join Ryan to talk about how his illness has affected their lives, but also to highlight the wonderful work LauraLynn does for the family.
And, just when you thought things couldn’t get any more Irish, Pat Shortt and The Coronas will also pop up at some point.
