Sunday's TV Tips

Check out our spoiler-free tips on what?s best to watch on TV tonight.

Sunday's TV Tips

SPORT: The Sunday Game Live (RT? Two, 2.45pm)

Michael Lyster is joined by Colm O?Rourke and Joe Brolly for live coverage from Croke Park of the All Ireland Senior Football Championship semi-final between Kerry and Mayo. Throw-in 3.30pm.

Or you can catch the highlights on The Sunday Game at 9.30pm.

Creedon?s Weather ? Four Seasons In One Day (RT? One, 6.30pm)

What causes our weather to be the way it is? How has it shaped us? How do we deal with it in our daily lives?

In the last episode of the series, RTɒs John Creedon is on a journey to find out everything he can about the Irish weather.

We Irish love to talk about the weather and after the past few winters, there is plenty to talk about.

From the winter storms that lashed the country, to flooding, to coastal erosion; this series will ask all the obvious questions and try an answer them in a straightforward and entertaining manner.

John?s journey will find him investigating stories from history, science, folklore, archaeology and modern life on how the weather has shaped our landscape and our nation.

REALITY: Dragons? Den (BBC2, 8pm)

Full marks to the brave souls who take part in this week?s pitches.

They include a returning entrepreneur with an outdoor space-saving device; a golfing duo with a new take on the traditional tee, and a designer who has turned the conventional umbrella upside down.

The Dragons also meet a fellow multimillionaire and the Den is filled with children?s teepees.

With a fair amount of game-playing, gambling and bargaining taking place, will anyone manage to secure a deal?

MOTORING: James May?s Cars of the People (BBC2, 9pm)

If you have warm memories of daring Mini stunts in The Italian Job then this week?s show is right up your street... for a couple of minutes.

James May has had three Minis, but he?s not about to wax lyrical about these modest motors.

Captain Slow is more interested in social mobility, and in particular the Rolls Royce Silver Shadow.

Of course if this was an episode of Top Gear, when May starts getting technical, there?s a chance the screen would fade to black and cut to Jeremy Clarkson allegedly insulting an entire nation.

However, at least on JMCOTP, James has the chance to get his point across before the camera crew resort to an obligatory Sweeney-style chase during a segment about the Ford Capri.

DRAMA: The Village (BBC1, 9pm)

Any drama with Maxine Peake and John Simm is worth a look, and this second series does make for gripping viewing.

In the latest offering, polling day draws closer in the village, resulting in an even deeper rift between John and Grace.

Bill Gibby?s left-wing ideas have impressed her, but John is far from happy, so he bans her from voting.

Clem is also delighted as she thinks Lord Kilmartin?s daughter Harriet is the perfect match for Edmund.

COMEDY: Almost Royal (E4, 10pm)

Sacha Baron Cohen made a name for himself on the international scene as a comedian who skilfully duped naive Americans who had never heard of him. There?s a similar feel to this series, which exploits some Stateside residents and their reverence for royalty.

In episode three of the faux-reality comedy, Georgie (Ed Gamble) and Poppy Carlton (Amy Hoggart) embrace the Texan way of life.

When the siblings aren?t saddling up on a ranch or embracing the culture, they?re in the studio to record their own Tejano music.

And you can only imagine the rib-tickling that ensues when they watch the bidding at a cattle auction and are thrown into the air by a team of cheerleaders.

NEW ON NETFLIX: BoJack Horseman (Netflix Original TV Series)

[comment] Trailer NSFW[/comment]

Meet the most beloved sitcom horse of the '90s ... 20 years later.

BoJack Horseman was the star of the hit TV show ?Horsin' Around?, but today he's washed up, living in a Hollywood bachelor pad, complaining about everything, and sometimes wearing colorful sweaters.

Set in an L.A. where humans and anthropomorphic animal-people coexist, ?BoJack Horseman? is about one man (well, horse-man) who peaked too early and must figure out what to do next.
