Stilt-walkers spearhead Greystones festival
Greystones boasts more stilt walkers per head of population than any other town in the country.
And the towering giants will spear head this year's Arts festival running from Wednesday 1 to Saturday 4 of August.
Organisers have packed the four days full of events from drumming and belly dancing to imagination workshops, and everyone is invited to join in the fun.
The Galway Circus Project, An Sorcas Beag will be performing their new show Sorcas Quircas and will not take no for an answer when they delve into the crowd to seek out some unsuspecting extras.
Classic comedy double act, The Hussey Brothers have finally perfected their stage performance (after 10 years rehearsing in their bedroom) to produce a rapid-fire round of physical slap-stick and musical explosions to premier at the Greystones show.
And as usual the highlight of this year's show will be the opening parade where Ireland's premier carnival makers will take the lead.
