Farrell to appear at Meteor Awards
28/02/2003 - 15:34:59Irish actor Colin Farrell is set to present an award at the 2003 Meteor Ireland Music Awards next Monday at the Point Theatre.
Colin has appeared in films alongside Bruce Willis, Tom Cruise, Al Pacino and Ben Affleck in such movies as Harts War, Minority Report, The Recruit and Daredevil.
Also presenting on stage this year will be Colm Meaney, famed for his role in Star Trek - The Next Generation, and Stephen Rea, who enjoyed huge success in Neil Jordan's The Crying Game.
Set to raise the roof on the night is sex bomb Tom Jones.
With a career spanning 40 years, the Welsh superstar, known as The Voice, was recently presented with the award for Outstanding Contribution to Music at the Brits.
Also performing on the night will be The Thrills, B2K, Alabama3, Samantha Mumba, Westlife and Sinead O'Connor.
