Scandal boosts comedian's viewing figures

Jimmy Carr's tax avoidance has given viewing figures for his Channel 4 show an unexpected boost.
The comedian apologised last week for an error in judgement, which saw him send his earnings off shore on the advice of a tax consultant.
The scheme is legal, but on foot of criticism, Carr withdrew from it.
Up to 2.7 million viewers tuned in to watch Carr's '8 out of 10 cats' show on Friday night, almost double the viewing figures for the previous week.
