Roache taken out of soap until legal proceedings end
'Coronation Street' star Bill Roache is expected to contest rape allegations made against him later.
An ITV spokesperson has said he will not appear in soap until legal proceedings against him finish.
The actor, who plays Ken Barlow, was charged yesterday with two counts of raping a 15-year-old girl in 1967.
He has been released on bail and will appear in court later this month.
