Plot lost in The Village
28/01/2005 - 18:52:38In The Village, M Night Shyamalan takes a pretty OK plot and somehow loses his way in this dark tale.
A remote village lives uneasily in the shadow of a bunch of fearsome creatures who live in the woods, but their peace is disturbed when Lucius Hunt (Joaquin Phoenix) plans to break out.
A poor ending lets the whole thing down, but Bryce Dallas Howard turns in a terrific performance.
