Conor Maynard has to dodge the hundreds of pairs of panties thrown at him on stage.

The 'Can't Say No' singer was inundated with underwear and other clothing as he performed on his UK tour, but he insists he doesn't mind the flying garments as long as he can get his head out of the way of the clothing.

Conor said: "When it hits you in the face, it kind of puts you off. But when it just lands on the stage, it's one of those things where you just ignore it and continue.

"I think I got hit in the face by a scarf at the show in Manchester. It actually kind of knocked me sideways so I couldn't even continue singing for a second. I had to kind of readjust myself."

Despite the female attention, the 19-year-old pop star - who celebrated his first UK number one album with 'Contrast' earlier this year - insists his tour bus is a men-only vehicle.

Conor exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "If I invited ladies onto the bus, it would be so cramped and none of us would be able to move. It would be a bit of a vibe killer if I met a girl and made her come on to the bus.

"Also, we're all guys on there so it's just kind of got beer and stuff all around. It's not really the most welcoming place to walk into, so I wouldn't really bring a girl to the bus if I met a girl. I think she'd probably run away and never speak to me again."

Conor will be performing a concert for an anticipated 15,000 fans and switching on the Bluewater Christmas Lights from 5.30pm tonight.
