An imaginative sci-fi with a well-worked, if done-before, plotline of making contact with worlds beyond our own and coming to regret it.
The sending of wireless messages into the far corners of space raises ‘others’ out there who use the waves as a doorway back to us … and they can’t be got rid of.
Every time you turn on your cell-phone or log into your e-mail, they’re out there waiting to sap your vital fluids.
So, nothing new there then.
