No wild after-gig parties for Monopoly fan Sheeran

Ed Sheeran relaxes after gigs by playing Monopoly.

The 'Drunk' singer isn't into wild partying, preferring to wind down after a show with a glass of squash and some of his favourite board games.

A source told the Daily Star newspaper: "After a show Ed just likes to hang out, relaxing with a game of Monopoly.

"He's not into boozing. He drinks fruit and barley."

Meanwhile, Sheeran - who is preparing to tour with his friend Taylor Swift - has confirmed his next album will come out in February 2014 and says it will be different to his debut, '+'.

He told Billboard magazine: "I've got around 26 songs for the next record, and I've got another nine months on the road to keep writing as well, so the record's definitely on his way.

"I can tell you it will probably come out in February 2014, and I'm gonna be recording and writing it over the whole Taylor tour.

"Most of the first record was written when I was 17, 18 at the time, and I'm 21 now. So I've definitely evolved in the way I write songs and the way I perform, the whole mindspace. So it's just going to be a little more developed, I think."
