New documentary to show Winehouse's life in St Lucia
20/05/2009 - 11:38:47Amy Winehouse's complicated life is to become the subject of a new documentary.
People.com reports that Israeli-American interviewer Daphne Barakhas spent time with the troubled 25-year-old singer and her family at her Caribbean island retreat of St Lucia for the documentary.
According to a post on the singer’s MySpace blog, it will show a “truthful and revealing look at (Amy’s) complicated life”.
A clip on Barakhas’ website shows Amy’s dad Mitch explaining how the Caribbean island is a welcome getaway for his daughter.
There are also photographs which see Amy in the studio and hosting a birthday party.
The documentary is expected to be released later this year.
