New app removes Brown from internet

A new online app has been created that removes all mention of singer Chris Brown from the web.

The Google Chrome gadget, entitled Brownout, has been created by Toronto-based music blog AUX after they got fed up of seeing articles about the 'Beautiful People' hitmaker, who split up with Rihanna in 2009 after assaulting her.

Producer Sam Sutherland told CBS Local: "If he wants to get a tattoo on his neck that kind of looks like Rihanna we are going to write about it. But at some point, it reaches Chris Brown idiocy saturation.

"All we had to do is build a frame where it recognises the word and ignores it and literally erases it. You can see everything except his name and his face."
