Bening and Watts to portray mother and daughter
Actresses Annette Bening and Naomi Watts are to play mother and daughter in Rodrigo Garcia's new drama - replacing Robin Wright Penn and Brittany Robertson in the movie.
Wright Penn and Robertson were linked to 'Mother & Child' earlier this year, but they've now dropped out for reasons unknown.
But that's not the only change in the film - Universal Studios and production company cha cha cha are also no longer with the project; Mockingbird Films' Julie Lyons is now slated to produce the movie.
Filming is due to begin in Los Angeles early next year.
