Buscemi shines in good-ish 'Igor'

A neat enough little CG animation film with strong nods in the direction of Tim Burton and a knock-out contribution from Buscemi as a reactivated roadkill rabbit with suicidal leanings.

It’s not a major problem, but if you intend to take the kiddies to see this one be certain that they can handle a storyline that is on the dark side … adults will, on the other hand, quite enjoy it.

We are in the world of evil scientists, one in particular who has an assistant with dreams of becoming a scientist himself, much to the annoyance of the other evil scientists … scientists might also be warned beforehand: they don’t come out of it on the plus side.

It’s a good-ish little film but, however unfair it may be, not as good as Burton would have brought us.
