Matthews voted out of jungle show
Cerys Matthews has become the latest star to be voted off reality series ‘I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!’.
In her interview with hosts Ant and Dec last night, Matthews said she was "gutted" after being told that former contestant Marc Bannerman was not in Australia.
Asked when she realised she was first attracted to him, Matthews said: "We got on well from the beginning ... We started spending more time together and it was like: 'Oh, shoot', because it's not right, is it?"
Asked if the situation had been "intensified" in the jungle, she replied: "I will have to tell you that when I get out.
"It is certainly a special place... and you forget about everything else."
She said of Bannerman: "I'm a bit gutted he's not here, actually. But I have got my kids waiting for me."
She then tipped Biggins to win the show.
Earlier in the show, contestants could not answer questions about the one subject they would be expected to know about today - themselves.
Matthews, Janice Dickinson, Jason 'J' Brown, and Christopher Biggins had to answer three questions about their own life and career.
Former boyband member Brown was asked but could not answer: "In the song Mr Z on 5ive's album, how tall is Mr Z?"
He said: "That's ridiculous. It wasn't even a proper song, we wrote it when we were worst (sic) for wear, it makes absolutely no sense."
He could not say what position in the UK charts ‘Everybody Get Up’ reached.
Matthews stumbled and guessed that her big hit ‘Road Rage’ entered the UK singles chart at number two, but was told it was number five.
Dickinson was asked what year she started dating Sylvester Stallone and said it was 1991. Brown told her it was 1993.
She replied: "Well, we really dated in 1991."
The campers have been getting increasingly irritated by former model Dickinson.
Biggins joked that they had to make a pact to ensure she did not win.
Brown told the Bush Telegraph: "I just hope the public aren't blagged by the facade Janice puts on sometimes, like every time there is an eviction there's the cry of crocodile tears that start and they genuinely are fake tears.
"It's just the psychological tactics she's using - she thinks she's being clever and it's so blatant."
Dickinson was injured in a trial and had to be seen by a medic.
Matthews said: "I think she was on her bum and then there was a gush of water and she flipped right over."
Later, Dickinson told the others about an area of her life where she did hold some knowledge - her experience of plastic surgery.
She said: "You're looking at a man. I had a bunionectomy. I had a bunion sliced and it was very painful. I was a ballerina so that was my first operation, I call it mandatory surgery.
"Then we go up the body and I was a guinea pig when botox came along.
"The botox injections were mandatory for the fine lines and the crow's feet and then after 32 years of just being flat-chested, all of a sudden I had breasts and it felt great.
"After breastfeeding and lactating, I decided to get some implants."
Matthews revealed she smoked and drank whisky to change her voice.
She said: "I went to Barcelona when I was 18. I didn't have the nerve to tell anyone I wanted to be a female Bob Dylan. I used to smoke and drink whisky to make my voice lower.
"It was my true wish to be a singer so I went to Spain - thought I might meet and marry a flamenco player."
