Lavigne confirms split from husband
18/09/2009 - 18:57:36Avril Lavigne has split from her husband, Deryck Wibley of multi-million-selling Canadian punk band Sum 41.
The couple announced they are separating on good terms.
Singer Avril wrote on her website: “Deryck and I are separating and moving forward on a positive note.
“Deryck and I have been together for six-and-a-half-years, we have been friends since I was 17, started dating when I was 19, and married when I was 21 - I am grateful for our time together, and I am grateful and blessed for our remaining friendship.”
Avril, 24, and Deryck, 29, married in July 2006.
