Klass to expand baby range
Myleene Klass has signed a £500,000 (€552,662) deal to expand her baby range.
The TV presenter already designs a line of clothes, named Baby K, for British store Mothercare, and the range will now include home and travel products.
A source said: “The Baby K clothing line has been very popular and sold well. Myleene’s contract was due to expire next year and Mothercare have made an offer to extend that for a further two years.”
Myleene – who has a two-year-old daughter Ava with fiance Graham Quinn – will now be designing cots, prams, pushchairs, highchairs, bedding and bags.
Baby K is one of Mothercare’s most popular ranges, which caters for newborns up to three-year-olds.
Speaking about the clothing line when she launched it last October, Myleene
said:
"I am so excited about my Baby K range. As a new mum I have used my first hand experience, with other mums in mind, to help design a stunning variety of products."
For newborns, Baby K's colour palette is primarily black and grey, softened with whites.
As well as day-to-day wear Baby K also offers gift ideas including tights, blankets, socks and hats.
