Knowles orders Lloyd Webber to change Oscar song
12/02/2005 - 14:52:33Beyonce Knowles has ordered Andrew Lloyd Webber to change his Oscar-nominated song before she performs it at this month's Academy Awards.
The Destiny's Child star was concerned the composer's Learn to be Lonely showtune from hit musical The Phanton of the Opera is too low for her voice, and is not long enough, so Lord Lloyd Webber has agreed to adjust it.
Lord Lloyd Webber's wife Madeleine explains: "Beyonce wants it higher and longer, so Andrew is going to rejig the song for her voice."
Knowles has also signed up to duet with Josh Groban on The Polar Express theme Believe at the ceremony, as well as Look to you Path from Les Choristes.
