J Lo's curves airbrushed for photos
17/07/2003 - 19:22:22Jennifer Lopez’s bottom has been downsized in publicity photos for her new film, it was reported today.
The singer-actress’s famously large behind was retouched in posters and billboard pictures to advertise the romantic comedy Gigli.
“Columbia’s marketing division airbrushed her butt to make it smaller and pumped up her chest,” a source, who had seen the before and after shots, told the New York Post.
J Lo was said to be unhappy with the way her curvature was diminished in the photos, where she appears beside her co-star and finance, Ben Affleck.
A spokesman for the star joked: “I’m absolutely shocked. Who would ever think this could possibly happen in Hollywood?”
Lopez, 33, met Affleck while filming Gigli last year. The film is to be released in the US later this month.
Her bottom was named the sexiest behind in Hollywood in a poll of more than 2,000 film fans earlier this year.
Actress Kate Winslet was unhappy when GQ recently airbrushed a photo to make her look slimmer on the magazine’s front cover.
