Kelly hints at Beyonce 'X Factor' appearance

Kelly Rowland has hinted Beyonce Knowles will perform at the 'X Factor' final.

Kelly Rowland has hinted Beyonce Knowles will perform at the 'X Factor' final.

The 30-year-old star was disappointed her former Destiny's Child bandmate and cousin – who is expecting her first child with husband Jay-Z – was unable to assist her with selecting her finalists in the Girls category, but she is hoping her pal will be on standby to give one of her acts a boost if they make it to the end of the competition.

Kelly said: "I'd have loved Bey there at Judges' Houses, but she has a tight schedule and she's pregnant. She's still a great support though from the US, and if it's possible I would love to have her in my corner for the final."

Kelly is delighted to have been asked to mentor the Girls – including Jade Richards, Janet Devlin and Mischa Bryan - and is convinced any one of her group have the talent to win the competition.

She added to new! magazine: "There is enough talent in any category to win it, but the girls are a little bit special this year. It's the girls who moved us all to tears. I honestly think we have a girl who can sell millions of records."

Meanwhile hotly-tipped 'X Factor' group Chasing Keys have been axed by Tulisa.

The group were among eight acts selected for the N-Dubz star's category and despite proving hugely popular with judges and audience members, the singer did not offer them a place in the final, prompting speculation it was because the members – who all attended public school - were "too posh".

A source told The Sun newspaper: "She gave them the impression she saw them as toffs trying to be street rappers. The Keys are convinced that's why Tulisa didn't pick them.

"It smacked to them of a decision based on a difference in their social backgrounds rather than their ability to sing."

However, the band's lead singer Charlie Healy is offered a lifeline when she asks him to join The Risk, a group which was put together from soloists who failed to make the cut in their own right.

According to reports, Charlie accepts the move but the band are also told to axe Marlon McKenzie and Mitchell McPike in order to make Tulisa's final four.

The changes mean The Risk now comprises Charlie, Derry Mensah, Ashley J. Baptiste and Andrew Merry.

An ITV insider insisted there is "no truth" to Chasing Keys' claims.
