Jennifer Lawrence tries not to think about winning an Oscar.

The 22-year-old actress has been nominated for the Best Actress Academy Award for her performance in 'Silver Linings Playbook', and although she would love to win she is trying to keep her excitement in check.

She said: "It's very important to separate work from your personal life. If you don't separate it then it blends into your personal life. For my career - yes I hope, knock on wood - that I win but I don't have a personal interest in it. I am not going to cry myself to sleep if it doesn't happen. I'm still going to be happy, I'm still going to be me, I'm still going to have my friends and I will be fine."

Jennifer was pleasantly surprised when she got the nomination, her second after being nominated for 'Winter's Bone' in 2011, and is proud to be included in a list that also features Jessica Chastain, Emmanuelle Riva, Quvenzhané Wallis and Naomi Watts.

She said: "It's really exciting but it never sinks in. I am so in the zone when I am working that when you hear it, you are like 'Wow'. I know what an honour that is."

Jennifer has already won a slew of prizes for her portrayal of a sex addict in the offbeat comedy, including the Golden Globe for Best Actress and the Screen Actors Guild Award for Best Actress.
