From South Korea comes this superior zombie-vampire tale that is so well made it elevates a tired genre beyond the usual boundaries with its rich mixture of interlocking threads of sex, blood and morality.

Song plays a Catholic priest who volunteers to take part in the testing of a new vaccine for a deadly disease. Only he dies … and then returns alive, kicking and biting as a zombied-vampire possessed.

The film has a menacing, closed-in feel – shot largely in a dark apartment and dark, brooding streets – and it will delight fans of quality horror.
