Fey excited by '30 Rock' ending

Tina Fey is excited about ’30 Rock’ ending so she can spend more time with her family.

While the actress – who has been lined up to present the Golden Globe Awards with Amy Poehler – is sad to see the show she created and stars in come to an end, she and husband Jeff Richmond are excited it will give them more time together as a family.

A source close to the couple – who have daughters Alice, seven and 14-month-old Penelope together – told Us Weekly: "They are all about family now and they love being together. They never stop having fun.

"He stimulates her mind. They could talk for days."

After it was announced that Tina and Amy will co-host the Golden Globes next year, taking over from Ricky Gervais, the ‘Office’ creator was quick to wish them luck.

Ricky - who helmed proceedings in 2010, 2011 and 2012 - said in a statement: "Good luck to Tina Fey and Amy Poehler at the Golden Globes.

"After failing three years in a row to make E! Channel's Best Dressed list, I decided to hand over the reins. Let me know if you run out of Scientology gags."
