Electric Picnic regulars will be given discounts when tickets for the festival go on sale next week, it has been announced.
According to the official Electric Picnic website, tickets are due to go on sale on Saturday, April 27.
The discounted tickets will be given to fans who have attended previous festivals “in recognition of the fantastic support and the wonderful times that EP and its followers have had together”.
Between April 27 and May 27, weekend tickets will cost €149.50 “if you can prove you’ve been to 3 or more Picnics”, €169.50 if you’ve been to the Picnic once before, or €189.50 for a full-price ticket.
Tickets will cost €229.50 after July 28. Sunday day tickets will cost €85.
The site was not specific regarding the standard of proof needed to get the discount, other than to state “Ticketmaster should be able to help provide fans with proof”.
The line-up for the arts and music festival, which takes place in Stradbally, Co Laois, from August 30 to September 1, will be announced next Thursday afternoon.
