Eastenders trounces rivals at Soap Awards
21/05/2006 - 11:25:40Eastenders has beaten its rival Coronation Street at the British Soap Awards.
It was crowned best show, as well as picking up six other trophies including Best Actor and Best Actress.
The Street won four, with Hollyoaks taking two.
It comes just a fortnight after the Albert Square stars triumphed at the TV Baftas.
