Duffy flees apartment blaze
Pop star Duffy fled her central London apartment after a fire broke out last night, according to reports.
The Mercy singer escaped the blaze in the Kensington penthouse along with her pets.
Neighbour Rassa Borghei told the Evening Standard: “She was running about all the place. When the police arrived they calmed her.”
The newspaper said 60 firefighters were involved in battling the blaze which broke out at around 7pm.
It is believed the singer was renting the upmarket apartment which has its own swimming pool and cinema.
