Danyl threatens to quit 'X Factor'

Danyl Johnson has threatened to quit ‘The X Factor’.

The 27-year-old teacher was furious after being given George Michael ballad ‘Praying For Time’ to sing on this week’s show, and stormed out of rehearsals after a massive argument with producers.

Danyl – who is mentored by Simon Cowell – reportedly shouted: “I hate this song, there’s no way I’m going to survive if I have to sing this,” before fleeing the studios.

A source said: “He literally burst out of the door and ran off. A few production staff chased after him to try and calm him down and make him come back, but he was having none of it.

“They even sent a car to follow him and make him see sense but he refused. He seemed very upset and angry and is demanding a different song.”

After disappearing for over five hours, Danyl is thought to have eventually turned up at the Sony BMG offices where Simon works for crisis talks, telling the music mogul he was thinking of quitting the show.

It is now thought he will have his song changed, but the judge will force him apologise to the crew he has upset.

A show source told Britain’s Daily Mirror newspaper: “Simon will never tolerate rudeness.”
