Playstation 3 to go on sale in November
09/05/2006 - 14:02:25Irish gaming fans will have to fork out almost €500 for the new Playstation 3 when it hits the shelves this November.
Sony officially launched the new console ahead of a gaming extravaganza in Los Angeles last night.
The machine will cost €499 for the 20-gigabyte version and €599 for the 60-gigabyte version.
It includes a wireless controller and a built-in high-definition DVD player.
The Playstation 3 goes on sale in Japan on November 11, but the rest of the world will have to wait for another week to get their hands on the console.
