Stevens in final audition for Dr Who
27/11/2005 - 16:34:48British singer Rachel Stevens is up for a final audition to act in Dr Who adult spin-off Torchwood.
The former S Club 7 star hopes to win the part of Gwen in the BBC sci-fi drama, which will hit British TV screens late next year.
Stevens was pipped to the post for the part of Rose by former teen star Billie Piper when the Dr Who revival was cast.
She says: "Things happen for a reason and Billie is really great.
"If the right thing came around I'd love to do something."
