Witherspoon speaks out about divorce
18/12/2006 - 13:45:07Reese Witherspoon has spoken for the first time about her divorce from Ryan Phillippe.
The Oscar-winning actress - who cited "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for her split - attended the Kennedy Centre Honours recently and said she was "doing fine", before adding: "I'm getting out a little more now. You'll be seeing a lot more of me."
It has also been alleged that the actress has been talking with Ryan on the phone several times a week, but only to discuss their children, seven-year-old daughter Ava and three-year-old son Deacon.
A source said: "She's being civil to him, but she's built walls."
Although Reese is ready to put her marriage behind her, she is not yet thinking about dating a new man. The source added: "It's a million miles away from her thoughts."
